Ok so after 2days in the hospital, Sugar had her surgery and came home. Since her surgery she has been very hungry and has gained 2lbs back! She is not vomiting any more and seems really happy. I am very happy that she is on the road to recovery.
My weight loss is not doing so well. I have lost 27lbs. However the past couple of weeks have been low weight loss and slow progress. My doctor told me I have to see a Endocrinologist to help with my PCOD. This could be holding back my weight loss by slowing my metabolism. Since I am following my diet and exercising every day she thinks this doctor can help get me back on track. It is very disappointing when you work so hard and get such small resuts. However last week was my nine week measuring. I have lost a total of 18.5 inches. This made me happy and not so discouraged that I give up. I want to achieve this goal so I can move on with my life!

My Kitty and Our Weight Loss
So today is a really bad day for me. I had to schedule my oldest cat for surgery last week to have a tooth removed. How ever she has gotten much worse in the past couple of days. She has now lost a total of 7lbs in 7weeks, she was 15lbs. I called the Vet to move up her surgery and they stated they couldn't move her up because they were booked. I had my mom call down (we use the same Vet) and she got to speak to the doctor. The Vet said Sugar (my kitty) needs to come in tomorrow morning to have the proceedure done. They want her on IV meds way before they operate and may have to keep her over night to watch her. Now I'm scared. I don't want to loss my kitty. I love her too much. I also don't her to be in pain either. We've been through everything horrible together in the past 10yrs.
Now an update on my weight loss journey. I am now down 22lbs. I lost 4.7lbs this past week alone.

Update Time!!
Ok I am soooo excited to announce that I am 17lbs closer to my total weight loss goal!! Yes I hear you all clapping for me! I feel better, I move better, I am still working on looking better. LOL The diet is working and I am not cheating at all. It has not been easy so far. When I see people eatting my old favorite foods like pizza, coneys, chicken, I sometimes wonder why I am walking this path. Then I remember that I want to be a better me. At the size I am at still today I am not the best me I could be.
So I've been walking everyday about 2 to 2.5 miles a day. Cinnamon the pup come with me and she looks forward to our long evening walks every day. I lace up my walking shoes, put on my Nintendo DS walking pedometer, stick my ear buds in and take off to see what I can find! I never know how far I'll go or how long I'll be gone, but I LOVE my daily walk.
I have also bought a Jillian Micheals excise DVD. I am kind of scared to try it out. I've seen how brutal she is on Biggest Losser. I am going to have to toughen up and stick it in the DVD and work it out! Wish me luck on that one.
Well I'll keep everyone updated on this journey in my life.
Now on a lighter note I found a wonderful lady to teach me to spin. I had a lesson with her last Sunday and to say the least, she was wonderful! So patient yet willing to help with what ever I needed. She really helped me out a lot. She told me to spin everyday for at least 15mins. Well I am glad to say that I have been doing my homework! My spinning is getting better and I feel so much better about it!
Oh yes, I have be knitting, knitting, knitting my heart out! Still my favorite past time, I am currently knitting socks (Mermaid Lagoon), a Candy Stole, a couple blocks for the block of the month club (I'm behind on those!) and a mini sock! Yes I am a busy bee, but like I said before, I am feeling sooooo much better!
Well that's all for now!

Starting The New Year Out Right!!! I hope :)
So I haven't been keeping up on my Blog. I am a bad blogger :(
Well that's old and I am feeling much better. Does any one have a New Year's Res for knitting or any other resolutions? Well I have decided to do a few of things:
1) Start making things for myself. I am always knitting and then I either give it away or sell it. Have knitted soooooo many pretty things, I need to start make some for myself.
2) Start using stash yarn. I have to much yarn. I know it's hard to believe, but three large rubber maid containers full of yarn. I need to use it up.
3) I am not getting any younger so it's time to drop the weight and get healthy.
So for number one on the list, I've started some wonderful projects. I am making a Candy Stole ( it like a wrap or shawl). It has 158 blocks in it that you knit one by one, then you sew them all together the finally you felt it. It will take a while to knit and sew and I can't wait to felt it!
My second project is my Mermaid Lagoon socks. Wow I finally get to knit a pair of really pretty socks for myself. The down fall is that you have to knit them one at a time. I am almost finished with the leg part of sock one!
For number two I have started a stash breaking KAL for knitting a block a month. So far I have January and a fourth of February finished. I am making it in Cotton Tots. So far so good. It will be a soft large blanket for ME! My Candy Stole is a stash buster as well. I have had the yarn for this project for a long time and made my mind up to get it out and work on it a little at a time.
And last but not least, I am really on a strict diet. I am working hard and exercise starts soon too. I am not getting any younger and I want to be able to live my life without the extra weight. I am working with a couple of doctor to make sure I don't get sick while on my diet. I don't know if I have mentioned in the past but I have Polycystic Ovary Disease and it makes it really hard to lose weight. I have to work 3xs as hard and really watch what I am doing. My diet started on 2-24-10 and so far for week one I have lost 6.4lbs. I know it will take time and that seems to be what I have at this point in my life. Wish me luck!

My Role at Work
So I finally figured it out. Everyone has a role at work. I usually sit at my desk and just answer the phone all day. Only getting up to use the restroom or get something from the fridge. I discovered today that I Meg Griffin. For those of you who don't know who she is, she is from the cartoon
Family Guy. She is the daughter and they are only nice to her when they want something. The rest of the time they treat her like dirt. For example once she was watching TV and Peter (dad) came in and had her hold a watermelon. A few seconds later the watermelon blew up and there was watermelon and chocolate pudding all over the place. They are all just mean to her. I am not telling you all this to make you feel sorry for me, I just wanted you all to know I figured out my role.

Bla Bla Wednesday
So it's another Wednesday. This is the day that I hate more than other day of the week. It's not quite Thursday and not close enough to be the beginning of the week. To top it off I have to wait to get comfortable at home until after 9pm because I have to pick up my poor son from his father's. Just when your getting unwound from work and getting busy at home I have to rush off to pick him up. Now look I love my son and I don't mind having to pick him up, but it seems stupid to interrupt his school week to rush around. Most of the time he comes home and doesn't have his homework complete, he's tired on Thursday because he didn't get to bed early enough on Wednesday and I have to deal with his mood changes. Most of the time I pick him up and he is upset or angry because of something his father said or did. I do what I can to console him, but sometimes it just doesn't work. This is why I hate Wednesday. Maybe today will be different? Probably not, my Wednesdays are like clock work, they always happen the same way. However I do have something to look forward to, tomorrow is Thursday!! Thursday is a better day because it is Friday Eve and this Thursday is really cool because it comes before a 3day weekend!!! Tomorrow will great because we have knitting at the library!! I love the 1st Thursday of the month because I get out of the house and get to focus on my knitting and my knitting friends!

Where Have I Been??
I can't believe it's been soooo long since I last posted. I had a horrible time doing the Vera trip!! The only good part was the purses, oh the bags what great bags!! I did manage to stay in budget, I know I can't believe it myself. We stopped on the way back to see the Ladybug. I even tried her out and really didn't care for her or her price! However I have tried several more out and by some strange luck came across my Joy at the Hoosier Festival!! She is a single treadle and works like a dream. The lady had hurt herself and didn't really want to take it home. She gave me a deal and had me really give it a whorl!!! I even got the travel bag for free!!! It is a demo, but she said she had only used it once or twice. I was happy this was one of my 1st buys so I could by roving and not so much yarn. I bought cashmere, silk, alpaca, angora and some cheap stuff to learn with.
I also bought some dye to try out. I wanted to see how different the color comes out next to my kool-aide dying. I have yet to try the dye out, but will let you know when I do. I have to get my fixate 1st.
I signed back up for the Worldwide Stocking Swap again this year on Rav. My two partners are just wonderful people. The lady I am making for has such similar tastes as me, it has been soooooo easy to make for her. I am almost completely finished making her stocking. She is from England and loves to knit, camp and has little boys!! Now the lady making for me is from Switzerland. She had a lovely Holiday with her family and I can't wait to hear more about it!! I love this swap because you get to learn about people from all over the world. You learn about their culture and get to share yours with them. Then you can take that back to your family and educate them on someone elses culture. It is a great learning experience. This is my 2nd yr in the swap and my stocking maker from last year was awesome!!!! She sent a story about her culture's version of Santa-a Nisse. She also sent me a Nisse ornament (a favorite ornament), some sock yarn, chocolate and a thimble with her town on it. They were all so special to me. I just felt so special that she took the time to design my stocking and then to include the wonderful story with all the stuffing!! I hope my stocking receiver feels that way about me this year! Oh well that's all from me for now!
